2018-2019
UCLPASS provides a wide range of mentorship programs and career-oriented opportunities for UCL students. We aspire to provide students with guidance and support. We establish ties with firms from various industries and organise a number of careers events, including mentorship programmes, skill sessions and firm visits, with the aim of maximising members’ exposure to careers opportunities. Below are a few of our many career events throughout the year.
Linklaters CV Workshop
The CV Writing Workshop hosted by our principal sponsor Linklaters Hong Kong was a highly successful event with more than 30 students in turnout, and provided Hong Kong Law students in London with exclusive 1 on 1 magic circle insight into CV and cover letter skills.
Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal Tour
Over the summer of 2017, UCLPASS had an exclusive Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal Visit with The Honourable Mr Justice Joseph Paul Fok. A special thank you to our supporting organisation, UCL Hong Kong Alumni Club, for helping to organise the event!
UCL Alumni Mentorship Program
With 75 mentees and mentors enrolled in the program, held in partnership with UCL Hong Kong Alumni Foundation, UCL Hong Kong students are provided with alumni mentors currently working in their field in Hong Kong who were able to share invaluable advice on working in Hong Kong, as well as tips on obtaining internships and jobs, and on the transition from university to the corporate world.
