2021-2022
Throughout the year, we also join various external events hosted by other HKPASS societies throughout the UK, providing an opportunity for our members to build connections and meet individuals aside from UCL. Any information regarding internal social and festive events will also be found here.
Midlands Alliance Charity Ball - Primavera
Charity ball held in Birmingham, hosted by Birmingham HKPASS, Warwick HKPASS, Nottingham HKPASS, and Leeds HKPASS. A total of £200 was donated to Crisis UK.
KCL Talent Quest 2022
Talent Quest held by KCLPASS where any member part of the PASS community could come join and showcase their talents.
QM Carbon Footprint Challenge
Hosted by QMHKPASS, participants were challenged to a city hunt while trying to reduce the amount of emissions they produced while travelling.
Annual General Meeting 2021-2022
A whole week of elections were held to elect the next UCLPASS committee for the 2022-2023 academic year.
UCL x IC Chinese New Year Social
Social event held in collaboration with UCL Mahjong Society, ICPASS, and IC Mahjong Society. Various festive activities were available to participants including mahjong, board games, and CNY food tasting.
5U Subcommittee Dinner
An event hosted at Chinatown where subcommittee members from UCL, KCL, IC, LSE, and QM joined together for a dinner social.
Running Bath
Event based on the Korean variety show ‘Running Man’. The theme this year was Harry Potter and participants consisted of universities from all across the UK.
Freshers' Foodie Tour
A guide for freshers to good restaurants, food stores, and Asian supermarkets around the UCL campus and Chinatown. The day ended with a ‘hoi sem farn’ at Chinatown, allowing freshers to mingle and chat with one another.
London PASS Induction
Online event co-hosted by KCL, IC, LSE, and QM. Freshers were introduced to the London PASS network and to life in London. They were then placed into groups based on their degrees and given the opportunity to ask questions by current UK students.
Orientation Day
Our first ever orientation day and first face-to-face of the 2021-2022 academic year. Freshers were introduced to UCLPASS and consisted of a variety of fun games to mark the start of their new journey at UCL.
Bath Inter-Uni Challenge
City hunt tracing game in Hong Kong with a heated quiz. A total of 11 UK universities joined.
Exeter Joint PASS Social
A social event containing a total of 16 PASS societies from all across the UK.
